Poetry 101 Rehab: Partitions

Partition; nothing more than
A dividing line in the sand
I drew in my childhood.

Memories that haven’t quite been
washed away by the tide of time,
Remembered through a frosted glass fog.

Partitions like newspaper clippings
cut too short, the important words missing.
Or maybe I just want to forget.

Today’s Andy Townend’s Poetry 101 Rehab is Partitions, it is definitely an interesting one to try. If you fancy giving it a go click on the link and have a read of Andy’s poem, you won’t be disappointed!
