An Open Book – Episode Five

20150215_190944Coffee hour with Jordan.

So Valentine’s day is in the past, we’ve all exhausted our wallets and/or purses and we look on with grim determination at the next occasion that is going to make us wish we were multimillionaires.

I honestly don’t have anything against holidays like this, I just wish that the prices wouldn’t shoot up like a heroin junky finding three tonnes of his favourite narcotic.

So what’s been going on this week..?

Not too much to be honest, I’ve been stuck deep in some work for university, so unfortunately haven’t posted as much on here this week. Don’t worry though, I will resume posting on my normal timetabled time.

University work isn’t the only thing that’s been keeping me busy however, over this weekend I’ve travelled home with all my plans for Valentine’s day, that involved me buying all the cliché items to make a romantic candlelit dinner for two. Yes I do realise that I am a big soppy wuss, but I’ve embraced it. So I’ve had a pretty wonderful and relaxing weekend, but just haven’t had the time to blog.

In a couple of days it’s my mom’s birthday, so I’ll be staying around home for a little bit whilst we celebrate that, then it’s back to University.

In other news, I’ve managed to sort out where I’m living in the third year of University, and whom I am living with. Two of them are creative writers like me, so I’m looking forward to annoying them with story ideas.

One of the people I am living with next year (Ben) has an awesome blog that you can find here The Far Pastures. He writes great short stories and occasionally a poem or two, so if you are into that, check him out!

That’s pretty much it for this week, not the most exciting week, but an enjoyable one nevertheless,
