Yes lowly beings, behold and revel in the gloriousness that is my array of beverages…
It’s certainly not because I’d have to go up and down three flights of stairs if I wanted to use the kettle and the mango juice was on my bedside table, no, not at all!
I don’t make a very good case for a coffee addict really, do I?
So what’s been happening this week..?
This week saw the return of that consistent demonic presence that is results day, looming over all students like an executioner sharpening his axe. The results for my coursework were supposed to be up at two o’clock on the 4th, but after an entire day of refreshing the page and worrying I still had no idea what my grades were. After a particularly good poetry lecture and a pretty terrible nights sleep I awoke to finally find the results had been posted, so I had a look, you know, the good old fingers crossed under the table ordeal.
I think the worst part is scrolling down the screen to see if any of the numbers are below forty (because as we are taught at University, its okay as long as you get over forty percent.) To my absolute surprise I actually managed to get two firsts and a 2,2. So I am over the moon, as my creative pieces actually ranked in the top tier of marking. So at least the stress is off from waiting to know my results, and I’ve had a nice little happiness boost. I hope anyone reading this that is in any form of education does well with their exams and/or coursework.
Also, well done to all my friends and their fantastic grades as well.
Apart from that, it’s been a pretty uneventful week, I’ve been going through scales on my guitar, drowning myself in a veritable sea of literature and spending time in Wetherspoons sampling ale.
Oh! would you look at that, I’ve mentioned Wetherspoons yet again, I’m starting to worry that you guys are going to think they sponsor me to mention them in my posts. They don’t, but if they offered me I probably wouldn’t say no, starving artist and all that you know?
Well, that’s it for this week. Thank you for reading!
